The aim of the thesis is
to understand the processof using used bricks to adsorb phosphorus from aqueous solutions under lowtemperature conditions.
Findings embodied herein will expand the knowledge ofusing natural materials as adsorbents.

i) Literature Review: anintensive literature on phosphorus adsorption using natural materials;
ii) Experiments wereconducted in a laboratory to evaluate the physiochemical properties andadsorption traits of used bricks to ascertain their suitability for phosphorus removalfrom storm water runoff under low temperature conditions;
