生物质炭表面含有大量含氧官能团如羧基、酚羟基、羰基、内酯基等,同时生物炭具有发达的孔隙结构。

生物质炭施加于土壤,将增加土壤有机碳含量,影响土壤质地和土壤酸碱度,从而影响植物生长。
