本课题是通过多元合金化的方法,用较为廉价的稀元素Nd来取代Sc,从而设计出一种新型Mg-Sc基形状记忆合金。

相图是合金设计的基础,因此Mg-Sc-Nd三元实验相图就可以为设计出新型低成本、室温服役的轻质形状记忆合金提供基础。
