本论文分为三个部分，主要探索反英雄人物杰克的自我迷失，分析了这种迷失的具体表现及造成这种迷失的原因。
第一部分：探索杰克纯真的丧失。
表现为他开始涂着面具追捕、折磨、残杀动物以及将血淋淋的猪头钉在了空地中间的一根木棒上，献给野兽的沾满血污的贡品，摧毁了原本迷人、宁静、未受践踏的空地。
