As the representative of Aestheticism, Oscar Wilde endows his works with unique beauty, which also appears in his fairy tales. Through the comparative analysis, the literary techniques that Wilde has adopted will be analyzed in details to help us have a better understanding of Aestheticism. In addition, the beauty in his works will be defined through the analysis of content and theme. The outside and inner beauty will be the main parts to be compared. By comparing "The Star-child" and "The Birthday of the Infanta" in multiple perspectives, this paper will discuss the similarity of beauty in these two fairy tales, and make comments on the core standard of Wilde’s
