The paper is to focus on the semiologic interpretation of female charm in foreign media’s reports about China’s First Lady. Through the analysis of the words adopted and images created by the media of China’s First Lady, the cognition of Chinese women in westerner’s eyes can be reflected. Moreover, by means of the comparison between reports about China’s First Lady and American First Lady, the unique female charm of China is expected to be highlighted.
