Poetry is one of the most brilliant and fabulous treasures of Chinese literature. In certain aspects poetry translation shares some similarities with literature creation but still has its own aesthetic principles and savor. Translationaesthetics is the combined research of both translation and aesthetics and in this perspective the beauty and emotion of Chinese poetry can be reproduced in English. TheSongoftheBurialofFlowers is one of the most well-known poem with a high poetic quality in ADreamofTheRedChamber. This paper will make a case study of it from beauty in sound, beauty in form and beauty in con according to the principles of the translationaesthetics theory.
