The colorful names in Mo Yan's works achieve its great literary status. The names hold extremely high aesthetic value. Thus the translation of characters' names is an important part in its English version. From the perspective of translation aesthetics, the paper takes the characters' names in the Viking‘s version of Frog and in the Howard Goldblatt’ version of Mo Yan'sworksarecharacterizedbyabundantcolorfulnamesinagreatway,mostofwhichhaveadeepermeaninginChinese,embracingextremelyhighliteraryvalue.Thusthetranslationofcharacters'namesisanessentialpartinitsEnglishversion.Fromtheperspectiveofstylisticfeatures,thepapertakesthecharacters'namesintheHowardGoldblatt’sversionofFrogandinhisversionofRedSorghumastheresearchobject，makingananalysisofthetranslationstrategiesthattheinterpretershaveadoptedandhowtoconveytheoriginalliterarymeaningtotheforeignreaders.
