As one of the most received and praised cartoon film recent years, Zootopia tells a story about a group of animals lived in a fabricated paralleled world , Zootopia , where all kinds of animals live together in order. The material life in Zootopia is extremely abundant, but some animals, such as the leading character Jude, a female bunny, still find difficult pursuing their dream. Throughout the process Jude achieving her police dream, the film shares us numerous details about Zootopia, including numbers of merits and some defects as well.Zootopia is a world very similar to our human being’s real world, but in some extent superior to our real world. From the perspective of economy and technology, Zootopia is likely to achieve a ideal state, while citizens’ spiritual world still seems the same to us ordinary individuals, which makes the film familiar and acceptable to audiences. Under this condition, we can find that defects in Zootopia are also familiar and easy to understand(social problems such as race segregation, unfairness, and corruption). Through analyzing the utopian world of Zootopia from economic, political, social and cultural aspects, we will discover how the mechanisms of identities, stereotypes and biases work in our society.
