This paper studies on script of the movie The Truman Show (1998)from the perspective of psychological suggestion theory, archetypal criticaltheory and interdisciplinary approach to excavate all kinds of concepts in themovie in order to remind people not to live by concepts. The Truman Show tells the story of Truman, the protagonist of apopular soap opera. Everything around him is fake and all his relatives andfriends are actors, but he knows nothing about it. Eventually, Truman escapesfrom the virtual world in order to get rid of internal and external concepts.
