With the march of economic globalization, China is increasingly responsible for international affairs. It’s translators’ unremitting pursuit to tell a good Chinese story integrated with our culture and visions so as to boost the global impact of the Chinese culture.
Taking Xi Jinping: The Governance of China IIas sample, this dissertation intends to solve four problems:
1. Classify the genre of cultural expressions.

1.Check the data to determine the direction of translation research.
2.Read books about Nida and Lawrence Venuti to deepen the understanding of translation theory.
3.Read Xi Jinping: The Governance of China II and its English edition, collect samples of cultural expressions translation, and classify genre and translation strategies.

Before 4th January : settlement of the title
Before 28th February: submission of the outline
Before 29th April : submission of the first draft
