Withthetrendofglobalization,interculturalcommunicationabilityhasbecomecrucial.However,inEnglishteaching,theinputofwesterncultureisoveremphasizedwhilethemothertonguecultureisignored.Inthelongrun,itwillinevitablyleadtothelossoftheabilitytoexpressmothertonguecultureincross-culturalcommunicationforEnglishlearners.Thisphenomenoniscalled"MotherTongueCulturalAphasia".
